About Laura Braden, WHNP-BC
Laura is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to providing comprehensive care to women of all ages and stages of life. Laura has been passionate about women’s health since she was a teenager and knew her dream job was to be a labor and delivery nurse.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Georgia Gwinnett College. She then went to work as a nurse at Northside Gwinnett in Labor and Delivery and High Risk Antepartum, where she stayed for six years.
During Laura’s time as a nurse, she learned that her passions lied in education and building trusting relationships with her patients. She then went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received her Master’s in Science of Nursing with a concentration in Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Laura is excited to use her expertise to help more women feel well informed about their own health and thus creating more patient autonomy and patient centered care.
In Laura’s free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, being with her two dogs, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently trying to visit all of the US National Parks and all of the Disney Lands worldwide.
