Originally from Hattiesburg, MS, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. Shortly after beginning her nursing career, she relocated to the metro Atlanta area to specialize in oncology. After practicing as an acute care oncology RN for nine years, she enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Mercer University. Upon successful completion of her program in December 2021, she was awarded a Master of Science in Nursing. Jalesha currently resides in Gwinnett County with her loving husband of 12 years and their daughter.
